More than any other element, da Vinci studied water for his whole life, drawing and writing, tirelessly and passionately. The first documented and self-dated (1473) drawing is a river landscape. He first developed a correct understanding of the hydrological cycle based on observation and, in his later years, when he rarely painted, he painted the series "Diluvi", horrorific visions of unbridled floods that seize everything in their path. WISKI is state-of the art software system built with a three-tier client-server architecture in which the user interface, business logic, data storage and data access are developed and maintained as independent modules. The advantages are:
